Sulfuric acid (Chemical formula :H2SO4), the most important oxygenated acid of sulfur. Anhydrous sulfuric acid is colorless oil liquid, 10.36ºC crystallization, usually used is its various concentrations of aqueous solution, by the tower method and contact method. The former is crude dilute sulfuric acid, the mass fraction is generally about 75%; The latter results in pure concentrated sulfuric acid with a mass fraction of 98.3%, boiling point of 338ºC and relative density of 1.84.

Physical Property
Pure sulfuric acid is generally a colorless oily liquid with a density of 1.84 g/cm ³ and a boiling point of 338 ℃. It can dissolve with water in any ratio and release a large amount of heat, causing water to boil. When heated to 290 ℃, sulfur trioxide begins to be released and eventually turns into a 98.54% aqueous solution, which boils and becomes an azeotropic mixture at 317 ℃. The high boiling point and viscosity of sulfuric acid are due to the strong hydrogen bonds within its molecules. Due to its high dielectric constant, sulfuric acid is a good solvent for electrolytes, while being a non electrolyte solvent is not ideal. The melting point of sulfuric acid is 10.371 ℃, and adding water or sulfur trioxide will cause a decrease in the freezing point.
